Security Guard

Salary: $500 – $800 / month Location: Georgia

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining security and safety at assigned properties, facilities, buildings, construction sites, hotels, warehouses, residential communities, and other locations.

The successful candidate will monitor assigned areas, control entry and exit, conduct routine patrols, observe security systems, respond to incidents, and report security concerns to supervisors.

This position is suitable for disciplined, alert, physically capable, and responsible candidates who can remain attentive during their assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and protect assigned premises, property, and facilities.
  • Control entry and exit of authorized personnel and visitors.
  • Check identification and access permissions where required.
  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and restricted zones.
  • Observe CCTV and other security systems where assigned.
  • Maintain awareness of unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
  • Report incidents to supervisors and relevant personnel.
  • Maintain accurate security logs and incident records.
  • Monitor visitors, contractors, vehicles, and deliveries where required.
  • Conduct basic security checks of buildings and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure doors, gates, and restricted areas are secured according to procedures.
  • Assist with emergency procedures when required.
  • Contact appropriate emergency or management personnel according to company procedures.
  • Maintain professional communication with employees, visitors, and guests.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Wear required uniform and identification.
  • Maintain security equipment in good condition.
  • Follow company security policies and post instructions.
