Inventory Assistant

Salary: $850 – $1,400 / month Location: Singapore

The Inventory Assistant is responsible for supporting daily inventory and stock-control activities within warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and storage operations.

The successful candidate will assist with stock counts, record inventory movements, check quantities, update inventory information, identify discrepancies, and support warehouse teams in maintaining accurate stock records.

This position is suitable for organized candidates with good attention to detail who can work accurately with inventory information and follow warehouse procedures

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily inventory and stock-control activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Record incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Conduct physical stock counts.
  • Compare physical stock with inventory records.
  • Identify missing, damaged, excess, or incorrect stock.
  • Report inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Check product quantities, codes, descriptions, and locations.
  • Update inventory information in records or warehouse systems.
  • Assist with stock reconciliation activities.
  • Organize inventory according to designated storage locations.
  • Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items.
  • Support receiving and dispatch activities.
  • Assist with stock transfers between warehouse locations.
  • Prepare inventory reports when required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory documentation.
