Loading & Unloading Staff
The Loading & Unloading Staff member is responsible for safely loading, unloading, moving, and organizing goods and materials within warehouses, distribution centers, logistics facilities, and delivery areas.
The successful candidate will assist warehouse and logistics teams with cargo handling, vehicle loading and unloading, product movement, storage organization, and other assigned material-handling duties.
This position is suitable for physically fit and reliable candidates who can perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Load goods and materials onto delivery vehicles.
- Unload goods and materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Move products between loading, storage, picking, and dispatch areas.
- Handle packages and materials carefully to prevent damage.
- Organize goods according to warehouse instructions.
- Check packages for visible damage during loading and unloading.
- Follow cargo-handling and storage procedures.
- Assist with arranging goods securely inside vehicles.
- Ensure cargo is positioned safely during transportation.
- Assist warehouse teams with receiving and dispatch activities.
- Support stock movement within warehouse areas.
- Sort goods according to instructions.
- Assist with loading delivery vehicles.
- Maintain clean and organized loading areas.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
