Kitchen Helper

Salary: $750 – $1,200 / month Location: Georgia

The Kitchen Helper is responsible for supporting chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff with daily food preparation, cleaning, ingredient handling, and general kitchen operations.

The successful candidate will assist with preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, washing utensils and equipment, organizing supplies, and following food hygiene and workplace safety procedures.

This position is suitable for reliable and physically capable candidates who are willing to learn kitchen operations and work effectively as part of a hospitality team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs and cooks with daily kitchen activities.
  • Prepare basic ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, and other food items.
  • Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients according to instructions.
  • Assist with food preparation before cooking.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
  • Maintain clean and organized kitchen areas.
  • Assist with receiving and storing food supplies.
  • Organize ingredients and kitchen supplies in designated areas.
  • Check food items for visible damage or spoilage.
  • Dispose of food waste according to company procedures.
  • Assist with preparing kitchen stations.
  • Refill ingredients and supplies when required.
  • Follow food hygiene and sanitation procedures.
