Electrician
The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, testing, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
The successful candidate will work with electrical installations and maintenance according to project requirements, technical instructions, applicable safety procedures, and employer standards.
This position is suitable for skilled trade professionals with practical electrical experience and the ability to identify electrical problems, use electrical tools safely, and complete installation and repair work responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical wiring, cables, fixtures, and equipment.
- Install and maintain electrical systems in buildings and facilities.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance.
- Inspect electrical systems for faults, damage, or unsafe conditions.
- Identify electrical problems and determine appropriate repair methods.
- Read and follow basic electrical drawings and technical instructions.
- Install switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, breakers, and other electrical components.
- Connect electrical cables and equipment according to specifications.
- Test electrical installations after installation or repair.
